Golem head sculpt
A doodle , unfinished :
Golem head , sculpted in Blender 2.5 from scratch
lots of fun sculpting 2 millions polies smoothly , and with procedural brushes !
To make the stone skin , i used a kind of voronoi texture (a cell pattern , with cracks , very good for rocks) .
Being it procedural means very high resolution, and it can be used not just as flat projection but also as real 3d … no distortions of sort.
Retopo tool isn’t into 2.5 yet.. when it’ll be, i will optimize this and finish this.
